The Ned - Rooftop Extension

This project comprises the construction of a new roof terrace at fifth-floor level within The Ned hotel, creating an enhanced bar and restaurant destination adjacent to an existing terrace. As a Grade I Listed building, the works required careful consideration of heritage significance, planning constraints and listed building consents.

The hotel remained fully operational throughout the project, demanding meticulous logistical planning and programme management to minimise disruption to guests and operations. Construction activities were carefully sequenced within a highly constrained environment, balancing heritage protection with the delivery of modern hospitality facilities.

The result enhances The Ned’s leisure offering while preserving the architectural integrity of one of London’s most significant historic buildings.
