The development comprises a large-scale refurbishment and cut and carve of an existing hotel. The project delivered the full refurbishment of 256 guestrooms and circulation spaces, alongside the introduction of a range of new hospitality and conferencing facilities.
These include a ground floor wine bar and restaurant entrance, a reconfigured lobby with cocktail bar and coffee shop, a new basement bar with back-of-house areas, and a level seven bar and conference suite with rooftop terrace and the ‘100 Room’.
Extensive upgrades to the building services were undertaken, improving performance and guest comfort, while a reworked façade introduced new oriel bay windows to selected guestrooms.
