The scheme involved the reconfiguration and refurbishment of a period building to create a premium flexible-stay hotel combining public hospitality spaces with exclusive resident and members’ amenities.
The completed hotel includes a destination bar and bistro café open to the public, alongside private facilities such as a fully equipped leisure suite with vitality pool, spa, gym, sauna, steam room, yoga space, and treatment rooms. Two distinctive private bars were introduced: a garden courtyard bar located beneath a newly formed atrium, and a whisky bar set within the building’s historic vaults.
The works required significant structural alterations and a complete reorganisation of the existing layout to support the flexible-stay concept.
