We’re incredibly proud to share that RED Group was named Employer of the Year at Building Awards 2026.
As our first time entering the awards, taking home this recognition makes the achievement even more special.
The judges highlighted its investment in training and development, from professional qualifications and apprenticeships to graduate programmes and clear progression routes, as well as its impressive use of real examples to show impact. Judges were particularly struck by the Bento Bot, described as “one of the most innovative initiatives in the category, and by the visible commitment of senior leadership to wellbeing. With strong staff engagement, community impact, careers outreach and a people-focused culture, RED was felt to be a highly deserving winner.”
We were also delighted to receive Highly Commended recognition for Specialist / Main Contractor of the Year (under £500m), making it another fantastic evening for RED.
