DESCRIPTION
Completed in Summer 2020, 14 Park Crescent exemplifies RED Construction’s capability and expertise in the luxury residential sector.
Boasting a prestigious address on London’s Regents Park’s south border, the project saw RED Construction overcome complex logistical issues to restore the iconic building to its residential origins.
14 Park Crescent is an authentic Regency structure designed by illustrious British architect John Nash. The property forms part of London’s only Royal Crescent and has access to eight acres of private gardens.
Sensitive to this heritage, RED carried out works to construct and fit out the interior of nine premium apartments, along with the renewal of the elegant stucco exterior. A basement level was also delivered, containing concierge and residential plant areas, cycle storage, refuse and space for a future gymnasium and cinema.
The development requirements were highly specialised and meticulous, in keeping with the 14 Park Crescent’s stature and location. The fit-out included state art lighting and intelligent home controls, hand-built kitchens, bespoke designer bathrooms, and the highest quality of joinery and carpentry works.
“
As a firm specialising in London developments, the opportunity for RED Construction work on an iconic and esteemed Nash building, in such a prestigious central location, was one which we relished.
Working collaboratively with the broader project team, we successfully brought to life a sense of contemporary comfort and modern conveniences within the building, while carefully maintaining its original details and character. The unique development also called for a range of entirely bespoke methods and approaches, including EDM engineering for the curved line of the frontage and custom manufactured components.
For RED, Park Crescent now provides the exceptional point of reference for residential work, whilst also highlights the aptitude and dedication which the team brings to all contracts.”
