Weston Health Hub
Weston Health Hub is a new, purpose-built, five-storey healthcare facility. The first phase of this wider regeneration proposal in central Weston-super-Mare will create a major consolidated health centre with four floors of NHS clinical accommodation supported by a dedicated floor of healthcare office space. The facility also includes a shell and core unit for a future pharmacy, along with a new associated car park for both the facility and the adjacent Weston Rugby Club.
The development sits across land acquired from both North Somerset Council and the adjacent Weston-super-Mare Rugby Club. A significant drainage culvert beneath the site, protected by a three-metre exclusion zone, has been fully integrated into the design and construction strategy, with advanced engineering and sequencing solutions ensuring safe and efficient delivery. The building will be constructed with piled foundations, a steel frame superstructure, and a brickwork external skin, alongside the full NHS clinical fit-out.
The scheme establishes a contemporary civic presence while forming the anchor for future phases across the wider masterplan. As part of the works, a portion of the new car park will serve the rugby club.
Scheduled for contract completion in Summer 2027, the development will deliver a modern healthcare environment that meets growing patient demand and supports long-term public service investment in the town.
