Watford Travelodge forms part of the wider Watford Riverwell Development, a major regeneration of 72 acres of brownfield land in south Watford. The scheme comprises a new 131-bedroom hotel integrated within a mixed-use development. 

The project includes ground-floor retail units, contributing to an active streetscape and supporting local commercial activity. Constructed using a reinforced concrete frame on piled foundations, the building has been designed to provide a robust and durable solution aligned with long-term operational requirements. 

Developed through a joint venture between Kier Property and Watford Borough Council, the project reflects a collaborative approach to delivering highquality hotel accommodation as part of a broader regeneration initiative.
