Managing Director
Derek Quinn joined RED Construction Group in 2021 as MD of RED South West. Derek has 35 years of experience and has worked closely alongside other key members of the RED team throughout his career. Born in Bristol and with extensive experience in the South West, Derek brings a detailed understanding of construction solutions specific to the area. He is leading the growth of RED South West.
Robert Brooks
Pre-Construction Director
Robert’s experience in construction, design and management spans nearly three decades. Since moving to the South West in 2001, he has delivered local landmark projects across all construction industry sectors and collaborated with clients from across the country. Robert has worked on high profile schemes such as the iconic Brent Cross Shopping Centre Redevelopment and the Madejski Stadium during his career. Robert brings a wealth of experience to the pre-construction function and plays a vital part in driving the future growth of RED Construction South West.
Grant Millar
Operations Director
Grant Millar brings almost three decades of experience to RED Construction Group, with most of his career immersed in the South West construction market. Starting as a chartered engineer, Grant initially worked in the capital with John Sisk & Son and delivered The Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf, the firm’s biggest ever contract. He then moved into roles with leading contractors in the South West before joining RED in 2021. As Operations Director for the South West team, Grant oversees the division’s development and high-quality project delivery.
James Devey
Commercial Director
Starting in civil and structural design, James Devey’s dynamic construction career of almost 20 years has been based in Bristol and surrounding areas. Before joining RED Construction Group in 2021 as Commercial Director, James worked alongside other RED’s South West team members at leading firms, including ISG and John Sisk & Son. James brings a wealth of regional market knowledge and complex project delivery experience to the division.
