As part of the first phase, the works will include the demolition of approximately two thirds of the existing building, and construction of a 32-bed care home with extensive associated communal facilities, gardens, and parking. All bedrooms will have an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and will be arranged in groups that will share a ‘country kitchen’, lounge, assisted bathroom, and a quiet room.
