RED and Construction Sport partner for Mental Health Awareness Month

In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, RED partnered with Construction Sport to deliver a two-part Peloton Challenge – bringing together our team, clients, and subcontractors to raise awareness around mental health and the importance of wellbeing in our industry.

The sessions were hosted by our 40 Broadway and Curtain House project teams and were an incredible success, encouraging connection, physical activity, and open conversations around mental health. The 40 Broadway team set the benchmark with a fantastic 183.5 miles, and the Curtain House team followed with an impressive 175.64 miles. Whilst 40 Broadway took the win home for the most distance covered – congratulations to the winning team – every participant played a vital role in supporting the real goal: raising awareness and promoting mental well-being in construction.

At RED, we recognise that the construction industry can be a high-pressure environment, with unique mental health challenges. Initiatives like this Peloton Challenge are just one of the ways we aim to break the stigma and promote open dialogue across our teams and the wider industry. A huge thank you to everyone who took part — whether cycling, cheering on colleagues, or simply showing up in support — and of course, to Construction Sport for their ongoing work and for partnering with RED to make this event possible. Their mission to provide sporting opportunities for construction workers is making a real difference across the industry.
