Estates and Agency have appointed RED Construction for the £750k phase one works of their commercial development on the corner of Warwick Street and Beak Street. Axtell House will undergo a major refurbishment including three new storeys with an iconic façade designed by Darling Associates Architects. The building will remain occupied on the ground floor and basement by the current tenant during the works. Phase one works will consist of the demolition of the upper three floors along with the associated temporary works, external scaffolding and the new lift pit piling. Works are scheduled to be complete in the summer of 2017 to allow the phase two works to commence. The project represents a significant step forward along with RED’s business plan and our target market.
