The Panoramic

The project comprised the delivery of essential fire safety remedial works to a development of 40 residential apartments in the heart of Bristol City.
Undertaken as part of a wider life-safety strategy, the works focused on removing and reinstating external aluminium cladding panels and timber façade elements identified as non-compliant under current government guidance. The majority of the cladding fire remedials was granted funding under DLUCH’s Building Safety Review (BSR), supporting the delivery of compliant and robust fire safety measures.
Working within a live, fully occupied environment, the scheme was delivered in accordance with the Government’s Consolidated Advice Note, rather than through a PAS 9980:2022 assessment. The scope required careful sequencing and coordination to minimise disruption to residents, while ensuring full compliance with the latest fire safety regulations. The reinstated façade elements were designed to provide both enhanced fire performance and aesthetic continuity with the original architecture.
In addition to the façade works, the scheme also included the replacement of balcony decking, which was privately funded.
